Halloween shenanigans

Two KnightWatch Press authors, ex-CEO Theresa Derwin and horror author Kyle Turton, are launching their new books this Halloween at Southcart Books in Wallsall.

As Halloween lands on a Saturday this year Southcart Books are planning on having their annual scarefest on the day itself; you know the score, free food, drinks and scares!

11:00 – 11:30 Welcome from Scott and Amy, followed by Theresa Derwin launching Season’s Creepings, a novelette length collection of short twisted Christmas themed stories. Copies are £5.00 and Theresa will be happy to sign them for you.
11:30 – 12:00 James Josiah will be reading from a ‘cheery’ little number; The Voice. James believes you should write what you know, so normally sticks to music and depression.
12:00 – 12:30 Kyle Turton launches his second horror novel Deceit from KnightWatch Press. Join us for a reading and a glass of wine supplied by the publisher. Special launch offer £8.00, RRP £8.99
12:30 – 13:00 Antony N Britt has one thing to say… Welcome to My Nightmare.
13:00 – 13:30 Break and nibbles, eat drink and be merry, for its Halloween and you could be dead come nightfall.
13:30 – 14:00 AS Chambers, creator of supernatural detective Sam Spalluci, the whiskey-drinking, chain-smoking, trumpet-playing, sci-fi-watching investigator of the paranormal, reads and entertains you.
14:00 – 14:30 Duncan P Bradshaw, author of the fun fuelled post-apocalyptic Class Three and the dark twisted sequel Class Four, reads from one of his books.
14:30 – 15:00 Ash Hartwell, author of Zombies, Vamps and Fiends, will make you shiver when he reads.
15:00 – 15:30 Jon Hartless reads from Romanticism Lost, a grim comedy inspired by classic horror.
15:30 – 16:00 Jonathan Butcher’s boozy urban realism with a sprinkling of spiteful horror.
